Bridal shoes are quickly going from virginal white and innocent ivory to bright colors that pack a major punch.  For the past few years the trend of colorful wedding shoes has been growing and it has now reached full mainstream status, with many brides choosing to add another pop of color and further showcase their personality.  From dark navy, to use as your something blue, to bright pink to showcase your long time love of the color, nothing is off limits. 

A great way to embrace this trend is to match your shoes to your bridesmaid’s dresses or one of the other colors used in your wedding.  This ties the theme together and is another place to reinforce color choices.  With so many people using this trend you may think that it is overplayed and you should just stick to traditional shoes.  This trend is about embracing your personality and love for color.  If you are more comfortable in a traditional shoe, how about try a bright shoe for the reception?  Receptions are a great way to let your hair down (so to speak, we know that up do took hours!) and try out trends that you may not have used in your ceremony.
